This was my second illustration in my Greek series. Mnemosyne, was, according to Greek mythology, the goddess of memory and time and the inventor of language. It was an obvious choice as a great character to illustrate, mostly because it gave me an excuse to make a clock-bolo and a timeline that included the popularity spike of the macaroon. This modern Mnemosyne has Tesla AND Orville Wright tattooed on her arms, which is a claim that most goddesses cannot make. That is because they are too busy being socially inappropriate to consider how cool the Wright brothers were.
